Having issues with your Kamvas 13?
Here are some of the most commons issues and the steps to solve them:
- No signal or flash screen issue:
- When the red USB-A end of the 3-in-1 cable is connected to a 5V power supply but the logo does not appear and the LED light around the tablet's power button will not turn on:
- Connect the USB-C end of your 3-in-1 cable to the lower USB-C port on your tablet (the port that is supposedly for the USB-C to USB-C cable) and check if the logo appears and if the tablet's LED light will turn on to confirm whether the 3-in-1 cable power supply is working.
- If the logo will not appear and the power button's LED light will not turn on, then the issue is with the 3-in-1 cable. Thus, the 3-in-1 cable needs to be replaced.
- If the logo appears and the power button's LED light will turn on, it means that the upper USB-C port of the tablet is not working. Thus, the tablet needs to be replaced.
- When the red USB-A end of the 3-in-1 cable is connected to a 5V power supply but a "no signal" error appears:
- Confirm whether the computer's HDMI port works normally by connecting other monitors to the said port If the other monitors work fine, the 3-in-1 cable may be broken and needs to be replaced.
- If in case the new 3-in-1 cable still results in a "no signal issue", then the tablet's USB-C port is damaged so the tablet needs to be replaced.
- When the Kamvas 13 is connected to the computer a "USB Device Cannot Be Recognized" error appears (as shown below):
- This error may be caused by an insufficient power supply. The red USB-A end of the 3-in-1 cable can be connected to a 5V power supply to resolve this issue.
- This may be caused by a defective USB port on your computer. Try connecting to another USB port.
- Try connecting your tablet to another computer to check if the same problem occurs.
- This error may also be caused by a defective 3-in-1 cable. You can use a mobile phone to check whether the connection is normal and confirm whether the driver board is normal. If it can be used normally, the 3-in-1 cable can be added.
- If the 3-in-1 cable has been replaced and the problem persists, the issue may be caused by a defective USB-C port.
- This error may be caused by an insufficient power supply. The red USB-A end of the 3-in-1 cable can be connected to a 5V power supply to resolve this issue.
